Privacy Notice

This is an English translation of our Turkish privacy notice (KVKK Aydınlatma Metni). In case of any discrepancy, the Turkish version prevails.
This notice is provided under Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles for Fulfilling the Obligation to Inform. It explains how we process the personal data of people who visit our website, contact us, or use our property sales and rental services.
1. Data controller
Your personal data is processed by Çiğdem Arabacı (Çiğdem Gayrimenkul Danışmanlık; “Çiğdem Gayrimenkul”) as data controller.

2. Personal data we process

Our website has no forms; we do not collect personal data directly through it. See our Cookie Policy for how the site uses cookies.
3. How we collect personal data
When you contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email; when we meet at our office; when you reach us about our listings through property portals; through documents you give us during contract and title deed processes; and automatically by our hosting infrastructure when you visit the website.

5. Transfers of personal data
Limited to the purposes above and in line with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK, your personal data may be transferred to:
- Competent public authorities (Land Registry and Cadastre Directorates, tax offices, the Financial Crimes Investigation Board, courts) — as legally required
- The other party to the transaction (buyer, seller, tenant or owner) — to the extent the transaction requires
- At your request, banks you apply to for a mortgage and valuation firms
- Our service providers: website hosting (Cloudflare, Inc.), email and communication service providers
Our website is hosted on Cloudflare infrastructure, which includes servers outside Türkiye; technical logs created when you visit the site are processed there. If you choose to message us on WhatsApp, your messages are processed on WhatsApp (Meta) infrastructure. Transfers abroad are carried out in accordance with Article 9 of the KVKK.
6. Retention
We keep your personal data for the periods required by law (for example, 8 years for identification documents under Law No. 5549, and the periods set by tax and commercial legislation) or, where no period is set, for as long as necessary for the purpose of processing. After that, your data is erased, destroyed or anonymised.
7. Your rights under Article 11 of the KVKK
By applying to us, you have the right to:
- learn whether your personal data is processed,
- request information about the processing,
- learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used accordingly,
- know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom your data is transferred,
- request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data,
- request erasure or destruction of your data under the conditions of Article 7 of the KVKK,
- request that third parties to whom your data was transferred be notified of such correction, erasure or destruction,
- object to a result against you arising exclusively from automated analysis of your data,
- claim compensation for damage arising from unlawful processing.
8. How to apply
In accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, you may send your request in writing, together with information identifying you, to Zümrütevler Mah. Emek Cad. KİPTAŞ Seyrantepe Sosyal Tesis No: 93/11 34852 Maltepe / İstanbul, or by email to info@cigdemgayrimenkul.com.tr from an email address you have previously shared with us and that is in our records. Requests are answered free of charge within 30 days at the latest; if the process involves an additional cost, the fee set by the Personal Data Protection Board may apply.
